Magda Lagoudas

Executive Director, Industry & Nonprofit Partnerships, Texas A&M

Magda Lagoudas has served in various capacities for thirty years the College of Engineering at Texas A&M University. In her current role as Executive Director for Industry & Nonprofit Partnerships she pursues strategic partnerships to benefit engineering students across all majors. Examples include partnership with the National Security Innovation Network and Army Futures Command on more than twenty capstone projects in the past two years. She runs the I-Corps Site program, sponsored by the National Science Foundation, which has supported more than 150 teams so far, leads college efforts for industry sponsored capstone projects, and runs the annual Engineering Project Showcase representing the capstone project work of more than 1,000 students. Magda holds two degrees in Mechanical Engineering and leads efforts for Hacking 4 Defense and Hacking 4 Homeland Security at Texas A&M University.
